President's Message

Dear Brothers, Pledges, Prospective Members, Alumni, Parents, Friends,  and other visitors,

Thank you for visiting our website, and for taking an interest in the activities of the Kappa Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi here at Virginia Tech!

In just over a decade of existence, the Kappa Delta Chapter has made tremendous strides in an effort to become one of the best Fraternities at Virginia Tech. By consistently pushing ourselves and our Brothers in all aspects, academically, athletically, morally, and socially to name a few, we have managed to build a Brotherhood of men who strive for persistent excellence. Our motto “Better Men. Better Lives.” is lived and practiced each and every day that we are Delta Sigs. From Student Government Association to Orientation Leaders, Residence Hall Advisors to the Athletic Department,   our letters Delta Sigma Phi are proudly worn.

I am beginning my third year as a member of Delta Sigma Phi, and can say whole-heartedly that I have never been more proud to be a part of an organization. The men of Delta Sig pursue greatness in all that we do, while always keeping a balance of our values: the bonds of Brotherhood that brought us all together, the commitment to high standards of moral conduct, bettering ourselves and the world around us, and the pursuit of knowledge and intellectual development. This was exactly what I was searching for when I came to Virginia Tech and Delta Sigma Phi has provided that place where I was able to grow while being challenged to reach my full potential. Delta Sigma Phi has created an atmosphere where my Brothers and I can succeed by fostering healthy lifestyles through a balance of opportunities and challenges. We take pride in all that we do, but most importantly, we are proud of the bonds of Brotherhood that tie us all together.

2009 promises to be a fun and exciting year for our fraternity. We stand on the verge of something truly great, and we invite you all to be a part as we determine both our future as individuals and as a Fraternity as a whole. The men around me challenge me every day of my life to be the best I can be, and I invite you to join us as we continue to pursue excellence.

Dare to Be Great!
