Chapter Awards

The Brothers of the Kappa Delta Chapter have recently been recognized by our National Organization as well as by Virginia Tech for all of our hard work.

In 2009, the KD Chapter was awarded:

Pyramid of Excellence - the highest award a chapter can receive from Delta Sigma Phi. Given for all around excellence in Chapter Life.

Academy of Excellence - the highest award a chapter can receive from Virginia Tech’s Greek Life. Given for all excellence in all aspects of Chapter Life.

Outstanding Membership Development - awarded by IFC for the best new member program.

Outstanding Fraternal Relations - voted on by our fellow Fraternities for having the best community relations with Greek Life, Virginia Tech, and Blacksburg.

Best Brotherhood - voted on by our fellow Fraternities for having the closest brotherhood out of all IFC Fraternities.

As we continue to strive for excellence, these awards represent progress on a long road. We look forward to continuing to work hard in order to become one of the best Chapters on Tech’s campus.
