Scholarship
Each brother in Delta Sigma Phi holds great pride in their individual academics. As a fraternity we hold academics at a high level. We provide study hours each week that are mandatory for our new members as well as open for brothers to attend. Each new member and brother is required to meet the 2.5 GPA standard that we set as a chapter. If a brother fails to meet this standard, he is put on the scholarship program in which the scholarship chair can guide those particular brothers to better academic success. Brothers or new members that struggle are matched up with brothers that can help in those particular subjects. The scholarship chair provides guidance in areas of professional development in areas of resume help and interviewing tips to encourage brother to get rewarding jobs and/or internships in the future.
Delta Sigma Phi has consistently been over the all male average GPA of Virginia Tech and part of the top 5 ranking of fraternities and their overall GPA’s. We are very happy where we are moving in terms of academic success as a fraternity and are always working to challenge each other to a new level of success professionally and academically! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Scholarship chair.
